Rwanda
Rwanda was set up by the French and formed two tribes, Hutu and Tutsi. In the beginning the Tutsis were in charge of the government and treated the Hutus unjustly. When the Hutus finally gained control of the government roughly 10 years ago a genocide went under the radar. Over 1 million Rwandan men, women, and even children were cruely and unjustly murdered due to years of hatred between the two tribes. If the UN would have contributed even 3,000 troops then they could saved all these lives. Two movies documenting this tragedy have come out and I urge you to watch them.
